About Our Client
Our client is one of the most prestigious and recognisable investment banks in the world. With an enviable reputation for excellence and market dominance, they are seeking an exceptional individual to join them at a general manager level within their corporate services and real estate team. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of all Corporate Real Estate and Services businesses and management for the firm?s offices in Asia. Over the past 2 years, the Asia region has doubled in terms of footprint and managed spends. In 2008 they expect to manage $400mm in the region.

Job Description

The is a senior and demanding leadership position within the region as well as within the global organisation. This position is integral to the successful support of the Income producing divisions throughout Asia and will partner closely with our colleagues across the Federation. Predominantly focused on managing the CRES team, businesses and operations of the firm?s offices in the region, you will Provide robust leadership and coordination of all CRES functions in the Asia region ensuring that all internal client relationships are managed, and that all functions are executed to the highest possible standards, with a focus on commercial excellence. In particular, to represent CRES on regular and ad hoc presentations to report progress on on-going projects and processes with clients and Federation management. You will liaise with global / regional and functional CRES management to drive the successful provision of CRES services in the region, ensuring the delivery and on-going operations of all Real Estate in AEJ, including transactions, space planning and programming, capital projects, engineering and critical systems support and ongoing facilities management. In addition, you will ensure all Business Services, including Travel Services, Hospitality and Document Management, are delivered in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner in line with the broader re-engineering and expense management programs.

The Successful Applicant
Degree qualified, you will have nothing short of excellent experience in a relevant industry, particularly real estate, facilities and property management or hospitality areas and general business management. You will have a proven ability to lead, develop and manage teams, strong and credible communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, and recognised experience within the Asia region and/or Investment Banking industry. In addition, you will have a proven track record in driving projects to successful completion, excellent interpersonal skills and flawless problem solving and analytic skills. You will have a customer service focus with proven ability to develop long standing client relationships, be hardworking, flexible, punctual, accurate and responsible.
