Job Description
This is a newly created position in the Translation Team. You will be reporting to a Partner.
The Successful Applicant
This is an excellent international law firm opportunity for a translator who is keen to gain more experience in a professional environment. In this role, you will be exposed to a large variety of legal documents, with a focus on corporate commercial documents (including due diligence, prospectus, commercial agreements). The successful candidate will have strong experience in translating commercial documents from English to Chinese and vice versa. The internal ranking of this position will depend on the candidate's level and relevance of experience. While legal translation experience is preferred, translators without exposure in a legal environment will still be considered. Any prior knowledge in researching or handling PRC law/regulations will be highly regarded. You will be liaising closely with associates and partners in relation to on-going projects as well as working with other translators within the team.
