About Our Client
Our client is a large high profile retail group with sophisticated HR and training teams. A L&D Manager is sought to join the corporate office of the company.
Job Description
This is an important position in which you will plan, develop and implement training and development strategies at the group level. You will deliver an open culture where people development is a strategic driver for the business. You will also access relevant training needs for various businesses and manage training delivery. You will design programs necessary to meet development needs of individuals, internally or through external service providers. You will also manage and control the overall departmental budgets and costs to ensure optimum value is obtained. You will also deliver soft skills training to senior management of the group.
The Successful Applicant
Degree qualified, you will have proven track record in developing and delivering an Executive Development strategy, ideally within a retail environment. You may have a strong in-house training and development background or training specialist background in a consultancy. Fluency in Business English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin will be required.
