About Our Client

Our client is a leading retailer in its industry with a listing status in Hong Kong. Due to business expansion, they are looking for high calibre individual to join their management team.

Job Description
Reporting to the Audit Committee, you will lead a team and being responsible for the internal audit functions of the Group. You will also oversee all of the Group internal audit strategy in enhancing a risk based framework as well as aligning the function with the needs of the business and champion best practice across the Group. In addition you will also perform risk assessments, ensure quality controls are in place to maintain operational efficiency, assist in formulation of group policies and lead a range of ad-hoc projects to support the growth of the business.

The Successful Applicant
You must be a professionally qualified accountant with over 10 years experience, preferably with at least 5 years solid external audit experience gained in the Big 4 and audit experience gained in the commercial sector, ideally from Hong Kong listed companies would be an advantage. You must be commercially astute, analytical and able to work independently while possessing very strong presentation and interpersonal skills. In-depth of Hong Kong listing rules is highly preferred. Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential.
