About Our Client
For our client a European MNC within the Electronic Industry we are now recruiting for a Head of Tax to run their China Operation globally.

Job Description

This position is responsible for the Company’s tax compliance, tax planning and accounting for income taxes. The successful candidate will work with businesses, service providers, and other tax professionals in carrying out his or her responsibilities.

• Managing a large team of finance personnel covering areas including information reporting, tax withholding, cost basis, tax lot accounting, etc.
• Responsible for implementation of control processes to ensure continued adherence to regulations relating to department functions and local regulations.
• In charge of quarterly and annual income tax projections
• Manage implementation of year-end tax planning strategy and coordination of technical tax training
• Coordinate and review monthly, quarterly and annual sales tax filings
• Manage tax related special projects.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor above degree holder, qualification of CTA or equivalent is preferred.
• Solid tax operations experience in information reporting and tax withholding
• Good managerial skills and the ability to manage the tax team
• Ability to liaise with senior management and to represent the tax operations business
• Experience within a financial services institution Good interpersonal and communication skills.
