Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for the overall management and direction of a variety of large-scale construction projects across Asia. This will involve the initial development and subsequent implementation of project plans through to final completion. You will lead the team to continually monitor and evaluate the progress of construction projects and report to senior management and end users on project time lines and costing. Effective communication with clients and authorities will be a key function, as will the management of sub-contractors.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will hold a degree in Architecture, Civil, Surveying or Building Engineering and possess at least 20 years' experience in the management of construction and property projects. You will have a minimum of 10 years China exposure and be able to demonstrate that you have successfully managed teams to meet construction project goals pertaining to quality, time lines and cost. Commercially astute, you will be familiar with China construction regulations and be able to ensure that all projects are managed in the most effective and efficient manner possible within these parameters. Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is essential.
