About Our Client
Our client is an internationally famous trading company with a long withstanding and strong presence in Hong Kong and the surrounding APAC region. Due to expansion, they now seek for a GM of Logistics, Quality Control & Vendor Compliance.

Job Description

Reporting to Senior Vice President, you will be :

  • Responsible for the team management to ensure effective and efficient operation of the supply chain
  • Provide direction and input to the team regarding logistics arrangements
  • Manage in-line and final product inspections and provide advice and solutions on technical issues
  • Provide QA advice on complex product items to factories before and during the manufacturing
  • Provide direction and instructions for the preparation of shipping documentation to facilitate customs clearance and compliance with customer requirements
  • Manage hub / local vendor compliance team to ensure service quality, efficient operations and harmony within the hub / local network
  • Provide compliance-related support to hub / local vendor compliance and merchandising teams to ensure enforcement of compliance standard
  • Manage internal and external customer relationships to enhance customer service experience

The Successful Applicant

To qualify, you need to be:

  • University graduate, preferably with Master Degree, in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
  • Over 10 years of experience in shipping / logistics with at least 6 years of experience in managerial levels
  • Knowledge of ISO9000 / ISO14000 is advantageous
  • Experience in QA/QC MFG industry / compliance
  • Hands on experience in production/manufacturing, product/material, QA knowledge, logistics systems literacy and logistics service
  • Customer oriented with strong initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good team play
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin is a must)
