Headquartered in the US, our client acquires and manages investments in commercial and residential property, and real estate securities on behalf of its institutional and private clients worldwide. With its recent entrance to China market, the need for a senior professional has arisen to join their growing team.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Asia Pacific Head of Asset Management, your responsibilities will include:

• Manage, monitor, report and enhance individual property assets within the separate account portfolios within China.
• Managing, forecasting, monitoring and controlling income, expenses and capital expenditures;
• Managing leasing activities and negotiations;
• Development and implementation of the Asset Strategy and the associated Asset Budget;
• Tenant relations, retention and servicing;
• Establishment and maintenance of property models;
• Interact with external real estate agents and valuers, etc.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum of 7-10 years real estate experience in tenant servicing, management and retention; with previous experience in negotiating and administering leases and contracts
• Knowledge and understanding of real estate and property valuation nomenclature;
• Office agency background is a plus;
• Bachelor degree in real estate analysis, finance or related field;
• Sound knowledge of the drivers of asset investment performance and the ability to identify opportunities that add value to assets and the Portfolio;
• Chinese and English speaking and writing ability is required.
