About Our Client

Our client is a very prestigious European, FMCG organisation.

Successfully operating in China for over a decade they are now continuing their expansion through investment as well as M&A, increasing their asset base in the region.

Job Description

A very exciting (and nearly unprecedented) Tax Manager role has become available within the Tax function. There is both Compliance and Planning but also a number of special projects which make this role unique.

Compliance will deal with the regulatory well being of the business while actively increasing the Tax efficiency of the organisation. The Tax Planning side is involved with future projects on M&A and Investment.

Special projects will include Transfer Pricing, VAT and Asset Base.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be able to communicate ideas as well as precise information, at every level from government through to senior commercial stakeholders.

Technically you will meet the requirements on a Compliance, Planning and Special Projects level. As importantly, you will have a maturity to motivate and persuade others as well as a strong interest in a new market in China, in particular the FMCG business.
