Our Client is a dominant leader in the footwear and apparel industry with strong presence in the Asia Pacific region. An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a talented finance professional to join the Global Internal Audit team.
Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President & Chief Audit Officer, you will be the primary contact for senior executives in providing risk management and consulting advice to improve the effectiveness of internal controls and processes for the Global Operations function of the Group. The scope of audit will cover sourcing, logistics, and operations processes across all brands of the Group. A high level of innovation is required in order to identify and convincingly present improvement opportunities that are practical and cost effective.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you should be a degree holder in accountancy with a recognised professional qualification. You must possess at least 7 years' relevant experience preferably gained from both professional and sizable commercial firms. Exposure to audit in sourcing and logistics functions will be highly regarded. Strong business acumen, presentation and communication skills are required. An excellent command of English and Chinese is a pre-requisite and extensive travel across the Asia Pacific region is to be expected.
What's On Offer
