About Our Client
Our client is European organization with operations within Europe and Asia who has experienced significant growth over the last 15 years. The produce, source, sell and distribute a variety of LED products (ballasts, drivers and fittings) to wholesalers and global brands. The Guangzhou office leads the Asia operation will be instrumental in driving future growth.
Job Description
Reporting to the CEO of Asia you will manage an office of 150 staff and be directly responsible for Purchasing, Quality, New product development and Administration. You will lead negotiations with LED suppliers and provide a quality service to the groups customers in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. You will also be instrumental in developing your staff in range of areas but specially business and technical skills.
The Successful Applicant
You will have several years management experience and a basic understanding of the technical aspects of lighting / LED industry, or an enthusiastic desire to learn. It is essential you will have gained several years experience in managing both purchasing and quality functions. You will also demonstrate a successful track record in working on the mainland and for either a European or American organization.
