Our client is a leading Hong Kong listed manufacturer with significant operations in South China. The continued growth of the organisation has created an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources professional to lead teams in China & Hong Kong.

Job Description

• Provide strategic advice in addition to ‘hands-on’ support for all Human Resources related matters.
• Plan, lead, implement, assimilate and develop effective and reliable Human Resources strategies, policies and programs to support changing business needs with a focus on cost efficiency.
• Establish and formulate staff development goals to attract talent and streamlining communication channels to ensure corporate goals are aligned.
• Develop and leverage strategic Human Resources best practices and initiatives to enhance execution, performance, and employee satisfaction levels.

This is a newly created role reporting to the Chairman and the Executive Management Team.

The Successful Applicant
This is a challenging role that will suit a seasoned and energetic HR executive keen to have an impact on the organization’s next phase of development. Suitable candidates will be degree qualified with at least 15 years’ HR management/organizational development experience. Prior experiences gained in a manufacturing environment and strong track record in the PRC market are pre-requisites. First-rate communication and influencing skills at all levels including the senior management team at board level,as well as a passionate and can-do-attitude are key success factors. Fluent spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin is required.
