About Our Client

Headquartered in Hong Kong, our client is a major market leader in the sales and production of materials for the construction industry. As a result of rapid expansion plans in the China market, they are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join their senior management team.

Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager of the Joint Venture(JV) and functionally report to head of group finance, you will act as bridge between JV partners to ensure optimum performance of the South Western China operations. Having responsibility for multiple locations, you will oversee the accounting and finance, credit control and IT functions of the JV operations. In addition, you will advise senior management on potential business opportunities and risk. You will also ensure the implementation and compliance of corporate policy and procedure at operation level to ensure effective internal controls, system and procedures are being practiced in the JV, and that are consistently applied and adopted in all JVs.

The Successful Applicant

You should be a qualified accountant with at least 8 years management experience gained within large Asian or multinational corporations, of which 3 years should be at senior management level. Practical working experiences in China JVs and setting up a China JV are desirable and exposure to the manufacturing and/or construction industries prefer. You will be a hands-on professional who is able to demonstrate a high degree of integrity and loyalty to corporate, possessing equally impressive interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and Mandarin are essential.
