Job Description

Reporting to the plant General Manager, you will play a lead role maintaining the integrity of financial information, in particular preparing timely financial and management reports. Leading a dynamic team, you will establish financial controls and operating procedures dealing with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX regulations. You will also act as a key business partner to senior management, providing guidance and recommendations on budget preparation.

The Successful Applicant

You will be a qualified accountant with at least 10 years' post qualification experience gained from sizable multinational corporations. Prior working knowledge of US GAAP is desirable as is exposure to manufacturing operations in the China market. A strong and mature leader, you will possess sound business acumen and commercial awareness allowing you to support changing business needs. You will have a hands-on approach coupled with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to influence key decision makers is fundamental to your success. Fluency in English and Mandarin essential.
