About Our Client

Our client is a privately owned company engaged in a wide range of investments, including property, stocks and securities, in Hong Kong and China. Due to recent business expansion, they are seeking a Finance and Investment Manager to join the management team.

Job Description

Reporting and working closely with the Managing Director, this is a "right hand man role" to oversee the finance and accounting function and represent the Managing Director in dealing with business partners, bankers, legal advisers and external auditors as well as sourcing and assessing investment opportunities in Hong Kong and China. You will also handle financial and management reporting, group consolidation, cash flow management, treasury function and range of ad-hoc projects.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with 8-10 years experience gained from commercial sector. Candidates with investment banking or direct investment background paired with sound knowledge in Hong Kong/PRC securities market are highly preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, strong business acumen and the ability to operate is required. The ability to represent the Managing Director in business dealings is also a key success criterion. Good spoken Chinese and English is essential.
