About Our Client
Our client is a multinational consumer product services company with an established business currently undergoing rapid growth. To cope with market demands, they have created a new position within the company aimed at driving expansion and development in their finance team.

Job Description
Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Finance Director of Global operations, you will play a crucial role by providing decision making recommendations based on the company’s financial performance. Your role will assume responsibility for the country level finance function by producing management and revenue reports, maintaining the operational accounting function, making recommendations to accommodate tax rules and conducting the financial planning for the Hong Kong and China business. You will lead a team of Finance staff and play a key role in further developing the finance department in Hong Kong.

The Successful Applicant
Working in a medium-sized office environment, this role requires an individual that appreciates autonomy and independence. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in addition to external audit training. Past experience working with European professionals in Hong Kong and within the commercial services industry will be advantageous. Resourcefulness, a hands-on approach and a strong sense of team-building are vital in achieving success in this position. High fluency in English is required with preference given to Italian speakers.
