About Our Client

Over the years, HPH has expanded internationally into other logistics and transportation-related businesses. These include cruise ship terminals, airport operations, distribution centres, rail services, and ship repair facilities. In 2011, the HPH port network handled a combined throughput of 75.1 million TEU worldwide. To cope with their business expansion in the Delta Port and Eastern China region, they are now inviting high calibre finance professionals to join their management team in PRC. Candidates will be initially trained in HK headquarter before stationing in Delta Port or Eastern China.
Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Director in Hong Kong, you will be overseeing the Business Unit’s full spectrum of finance and accounting issues, internal control policies and procedures. You will also perform capital investment appraisals and handle matters relating to banking, tax and company secretarial areas.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should be a degree holder and qualified accountant possessing 8-12 years’ finance experience at managerial level gained from sizeable corporations or external audit experience with Big 4 accounting firms. In-depth knowledge of the finance, tax and legal requirements in PRC is a prerequisite. Sound interpersonal skills and fluency in English and Putonghua are also essential. Candidates with practical experience in a PRC joint venture environment will be highly regarded.
