About Our Client

Based in the US, our client is the world's leading freight forwarding and logistics services company with global absence. Due to their continued expansion in the China region, they are currently looking for a Finance Manager to be based in their Shenzhen downtown office.

Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be leading a sizable team to oversee the finance and accounting functions of the PRC operation. Key responsibilities include month-end closing, AP/AR, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management and variance analysis. You will also be heavily involved in SOX compliance and reporting. In addition, you will liaise with auditors, bankers as well as local government bodies.

The Successful Applicant

You will be a qualified accountant with at least 5 years supervisory experience in finance and accounting. Previous experience in the freight forwarding industry is essential, as is exposure to the PRC market. You should also demonstrate strong communication and problem solving skills in order to succeed in this role. Excellent command in English and Mandarin is a pre-requisite. Stationing or frequent travel in/to Shenzhen is required.
