About Our Client
Our client is a chemical trading company under a well-established Indian group. To further expand their business globally, they are now hiring a capable individual to join their team.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a business partnership role which you will be overseeing the business development and strategic planning of the company. You will perform intensive market research for developing effective corporate development strategies. You will identify, screen and evaluate potential investment opportunities. You will also work closely with different business units and responsible for the consolidation and review of budgets as well as performance analysis. Frequent traveling to India and Africa is required.

The Successful Applicant

You should be a Chartered Accountant preferably with an MBA qualification. You should have at least 8 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, investment analysis, M&A or operation performance review. Prior exposure to the India and Africa market would be a plus but not a must. You should be an energetic individual who has passion in growing a business and facing challenging situations. Strong business acumen is essential to succeed in this role. An excellent command of written and spoken English is required.
