About Our Client
Our client is a full service asset management company, and part of one of the most famous names in Investment Banking and Financial Services in the world, with close to US$7 Billion under management in Asia alone.
Job Description
You will work with Asset Management team and local operating partners to provide advisory and project administration of development and construction to successfully complete multiple projects across Asia, with primary initial focus on India and China. You will manage outside vendors such as project managers, construction managers and consulting engineers while demonstrating strong leadership behavior and expertise. In addition, you will provide technical support of construction projects planning for India and other Asian countries (except Japan), and will handle all aspects of project management including pro forma budgeting, scheduling and negotiations with consultants and construction organizations.
The Successful Applicant
Degree qualified in a relevant discipline, you will have a minimum of 10 years experience in construction or real estate development of major, mixed use projects. You will have strong project management and team leadership skills, judgment, tact, and diplomacy to effectively negotiate governmental agreements and large scale contracts, and preferably experience in another financial institution. Direct asset and property management experience is a significant plus, as is operations management experience. Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
