Our client is a US Fortune 50 retailer and a true employer of choice. An opportunity now exists for an experienced communications professional to join their global operation based in Shenzen.

Job Description
Reporting to the VP of Strategy and Systems, this is a key position where you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the internal and external communications programs for our client on an international scale. Working with the business heads you will be expected to advise senior leaders on end-to-end communication strategies and deliver programs consistent with the global plan. You will manage an internal communications governance process, and develop a proactive communications program aimed at supporting the businesses growth goals and people agenda. You will also work on communications strategies and materials to reinforce our client?s brand and values both on an internal and external basis.

The Successful Applicant
Degree qualified in communications, journalism or an associated field, you will have at least eight years of communications experience, ideally in a corporate or internal communications capacity. With experience gained from a large corporation, candidates from an agency background may also be considered. Possessing strong leadership qualities, you are culturally sensitive and comfortable interfacing with senior executives. Energetic and self sufficient, you have highly developed influencing skills, as well as the ability to network with stakeholders both internally and externally. A high level of proficiency in English is mandatory while fluency in both Mandarin and Cantonese is also required. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the role of Senior Manager.
