Job Description
Overall management responsibility for design of all projects in the Greater China region. You will work closely with developers/owners and design consultancies to play a key role in the preparation of design guidelines for China projects.
-Contribute to China-specific addenda to global Brand standards for all Hilton brands
-Project Director for selected projects Work with developers/owners, design consultants and Hilton reps
-Work with Tech Services Area Design directors as required
-Regular reports to management re design in China generally and for projects specifically
-Presentations to owners, Hilton management & other Tech Services Preparation of Project Briefs & facilities Schedules
-Review designs at all stages of projects for conformity to Hilton Brand standards and Design & Construction guidelines.
-Participate in site reviews and review of mock-up guest rooms.
-Contribute to value engineering of projects
-Work with Hilton Pre-Opening GMs and their teams during the Pre-Opening phase.
-Inspect existing hotels (operating or in construction) for possible conversion to Hilton brands.
-Prepare Property Improvement Plans (PIPs) for selected conversion projects
-Extensive travel within Greater China for projects or client meetings.
-Potential travel elsewhere in Asia Pacific as necessary.

The Successful Applicant
To be successful you must have proven experience in the management or design of Hotel projects in China and
preferably have worked internationally during your career. An ability to review and analyze luxury hotel architectural and
fitout designs. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential alongside design related qualifications
