About Our Client
Chaucer Consulting is a fast-growing independent business consultancy with a client base spanning Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and North America. Chaucer supports large, global organisations through the effective implementation of change, offering expertise in Project and Program Management and Change Management, in assignments that range from complex Mergers & Acquisitions and business transformations through to roles in interim management. The Chaucer approach to relationship management and service delivery is paramount to their success and they pride themselves on quality, flexibility and pragmatic, hands-on delivery.

Job Description
Due to the current and projected growth in Asia, Chaucer Consulting has set up an Asia Pacific regional office in Hong Kong and is therefore seeking a number of talented and experienced senior level consulting professionals to work with the Vice President for Asia Pacific in shaping and building the business in Asia. Leveraging off existing client relationships and building new ones, Consulting Directors will work to develop a strong brand and consulting practice in the region and will lead and manage a diverse range of projects across a variety of industry sectors.

The Successful Applicant
Successful candidates will be high achievers with the drive and passion to support Chaucer in reaching its growth objectives and they will have a demonstrable track record of success. A strong academic background will be required, ideally with a post-graduate degree and relevant accreditation (although not essential) and to qualify you must have over 8 years of relevant experience. Whilst consultancy experience is desirable, Chaucer values and welcomes those from non-consulting backgrounds in multinationals or financial institutions that have an aptitude for and demonstrable skills in project and programme management, especially where this relates to large scale business change and transformation. You must be commercially astute, capable of building solid and lasting partnerships and be able to demonstrate initiative, self-leadership and a capacity for building teams and influencing at all levels. A comprehensive knowledge in Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals/Healthcare or Financial Services will be an advantage, and successful candidates must be prepared for frequent travel. Exceptional communication skills in English and Mandarin required with Cantonese beneficial.

What's On Offer
A career with Chaucer Consulting offers a mix of challenge, opportunity and reward for the right individual. Chaucer consultants enjoy a flexible work culture and lifestyle in keeping with the demands of their role. They operate a virtual office policy, which means that each consultant is set up with a home office. When not on-site with the Client, consultants will usually work from home rather than from the Chaucer office in Hong Kong or elsewhere.
