About Our Client

Our client is a recognized global bank with fastly growing business in South China. This is an exciting opportunity has arisen for a compliance professional to join their new team in Guangdong.

Location: Jiangmen, Zhaoqing, Qingyuan, Zhanjiang, , Shaoguan, Heyuan, Yangjiang, Maoming.

Job Description

• Provide first-line support to local management and business lines on regulatory and internal compliance requirement, escalating to Compliance functions in a hierarchy as appropriate;
• Maintain regular communication with local regulators, collecting relevant regulatory policies and requirement, communicating to local management and business lines, and referring to appropriate Compliance function in a hierarchy;
• Handle administrative procedures related to licensing of new business outlets and people;
• Conduct compliance monitoring and reviews in accordance with Compliance functional guidelines;
• Assist management in preparing regulatory report and reply to surveys;
• Support implementation of Group procedures, guidelines and training programs.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor degree, major in Law, Economics, Finance preferred;
• 1 – 3 years working experience in financial or legal related field;
• General knowledge of banking business;
• Proficiency in English is preferred;
• Good communication skill, team player;
• Committed, attentive to details;
• Strong passion to learn and willing to meet challenges.
