My client is an international iconic brand listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange operating more than 800 directly managed retail stores across 40 countries.

Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President – Head of Human Resources Asia Pacific, this role is a strategically important role for the business. The incumbent is required to lead a small team to support the delivery of professional HR compensation and benefits services to the Asia Pacific region and to work closely with the global HR team on global initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate the HR policies to meet the company’s objectives
  • Evaluate the existing compensation & benefits programs and provide recommendation to maintain competitiveness in the market
  • Play an advisory role to support different HR teams in the region
  • Lead the annual salary review & bonus recommendation process in the region
  • Monitor the staff cost budgeting and provide support on budget preparation for the region
  • Analyze market survey data for benchmarking processes
  • Perform job evaluation, grading structure and salary structures development
  • Formulate the pay package for senior hires and international assignees
  • Ensure the HR policies & practices are in compliance with the local legislation
  • Review the insurance policy and lead the annual renewal process in the region
  • Implement and enhance the HR system to meet users' requirements
  • Perform other ad hoc projects as and when required

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of solid experience in compensation & benefits in a sizable multi-national company in which at least 3 years in supervisory role
  • Good knowledge of employment related laws and tax regulations
  • Knowledge or experience in SAP HCM implementation will be an advantage
  • A mature, proactive & confident personality with excellent leadership & communication skills
  • Excellence in spoken and written English & Mandarin
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint
