Job Description

• As an analyst in the team, will be responsible for the following activities, working under the direction of the relevant team leader in the Offshore Research team
• sourcing industry and company data and creating/maintaining systems to store and distribute such data.
• building/maintaining company models
• monitoring news and events and keeping global team appraised of new developments
• responding quickly to urgent demands for information/analysis, working extended hours as required
• carrying out industry and company analysis
• producing reports/presentations for internal use and contributing to externally published reports.
• contacting with 3rd party Company management
• use 3rd party data sources such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Thomsons, etc to gather data

• Ensure that all work is delivered within agreed timeframes and meets the required high quality standard
• Understand and comply with all relevant policies and procedures issued by the Group and contained within the Group Standards Manual and relevant Functional Instruction Manuals, Desk Instruction Books and Process Guides
• Communicate clearly with team members and other parts of CIBM as required
• Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators'
• Need to implement the Group Compliance Policy, as applicable to their role.
• Need to be aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with their role, and to ensure that all actions during their employment with HSBC take account of the likelihood of operational risk occurring.
