Job Description

A CFO role has become available within the high growth, Anhui, BU entity of our US client.

Reporting into the GM and Senior VP, you will be a crucial part of a very strong Divisional Management team, with complete responsibility for 2 legal entities.

You will take over a small but strong local Controlling team looking after all aspects of a core finance function – analysis, cash management, costing and risk as examples. Stakeholders will include a very sophisticated Group function, senior non-finance and also externally, bureaus and banks at a local level.

Outside of operational requirements on things like costing & reporting, there are 3 main strategic parts of the role - compliance, cash management and also the re-engineering of processes and systems.

This will involve mindset and cultural change as well as technical within your team & the wider business "on the ground" in He Fei.

The successful individual will have consistently progressed in a transparent, meritocratic and integrity based manufacturing environment over the last (circa) ten years.

Of particular interest are those people who have changed a local mindset and transactional finance function into a true business partner supporting decision making at all levels – while dealing with continual demands put on them by senior and international stakeholders.

The business is going through a very positive but also very challenging time so you will have particular strength within compliance (in addition to US GAAP Reporting), cash management and also extra sensitivity towards cost. You will also have a strategic ability within business processes and systems.
