About Our Client
For our client in the Oil & Gas industry, expanding rapidly in the China market we are now looking to hire a Business Planning and Analyst Head to lead a large team in their Head Quarter Guangzhou.

Job Description

• Develop, implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide management board with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the Company’s portfolio of businesses.
• Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications.
• Coordinate the capital spending review process for the company.
• Lead scenario modeling efforts for the development and growth of the portfolio.
• Participate as a key thought leader of the finance team, identifying finance priorities.
• Influence the accuracy and effectiveness of the corporate accounting consolidation and closing process and treasury operations through analytical review and trend analysis.
• Lead the strategic aspects of the annual operating plan and budget process for the company
• Participate in the financial modeling and due diligence efforts related to the company's ongoing business activities.
• Partner with accounting, treasury, tax as appropriate.

The Successful Applicant

• Skills in financial analysis are mandatory and knowledge of the local Chinese market an advantage.
• Finance and accounting experience with progressive responsibility , especially with exposure to international operations.
• CPA holder, Big 4 experience, MBA are preferred
• Significant experience managing people, with strong communication and writing skills
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical pronouncements
