Job Description
The Business Development function is a newly created centralised function. Although Business Development is run centrally, each member of the BD team is decentralised and sits within the business. The BD Managers are a core part of each of the account teams with which they work and work across each line of service. This position supports the Tax Business and Partners to drive top-line revenue growth and contribution to key strategic priorities the business has set itself. You will be responsible for driving all business development (BD) activities within the Line of service, develop go to market strategies and value propositions for priority clients, support major Tax bids and assist the Tax Leadership team with their strategic business development initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be:

• Business / Marketing degree or equivalent
• With at least 8 year of experience in complex multi-stakeholder environments, preferably in a B2B environment
• Proven experience in business development strategy, planning and implementation
• Proven experience in managing the ?sales-cycle? and winning business in the market
• Hands on approach to ensure plan execution is realised
• Ability to influence stakeholders without a direct reporting relationship
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines and budgets
• Team player with a strong client service approach
• Strong written and oral communication skills
