About Our Client
Our client is a leading investor and operator in the infrastructure industry with a significant presence in Hong Kong and mainland China. A rare and challenging opportunity has arisen for an exceptional finance executive to manage the finance function of their PRC business.

Job Description
As AVP of Finance within the China operations, you will report to the VP Finance and play an integral role in the China business. Leading a large finance team, this is a commercial role requiring close liaison with all joint venture partners in relation to financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, development and maintenance of a robust internal control system. You will also be actively involved in the ongoing development of joint venture activities in the PRC while acting as a key financial adviser to senior management on critical analysis necessary to explore potential business opportunities

The Successful Applicant
This is a high profile role requiring an exceptional candidate with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with at least 10 years post qualification experience gained from both Big 4 and multinational organizations. A practical knowledge of PRC tax and commercial requirements as well as previous working experiences in a PRC joint venture environment are prerequisites. Excellent communication skills in both Putonghua and English and the flexibility to be based in Shenzhen are essential
