About Our Client
Our client is a Hong Kong listed giant property developer with a diverse portfolio. Due to the growing market needs, they are hiring a higher caliber candidate for the Assistant Purchasing Manager position.
Job Description
As an Assistant Purchasing Manager, you will assist the Purchasing Manager to establish, review and implement procurement policies and ensure the corresponding procedures will be in place. You will responsible for procurement of facility materials and services. You will take full responsibility of the whole purchasing process, from sourcing, price negotiation, delivery, quality control and vendor performance management. As the Assistant Purchasing Manager, you will work as the expertise in the purchasing matter in the organization.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will be a holder of Bachelor Degree in Purchasing or relevant disciplines with over 8 years of working experience and minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience. You will possess solid knowledge and experience in sourcing and procurement in facility management. Candidate with working experience in multi-national companies will be highly sought after. Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply will be preferred. You will be independent, self-driven and possess excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is essential.
