Job Description
As an Assistant Legal Manager, you will provide vital support in handling a comprehensive range of corporate commercial legal issues, such as negotiating, drafting and reviewing both Chinese and English corporate agreements. You will play a key role in overseeing the Corporation’s investment projects, particularly mergers & acquisitions, within the innovative online servicing and e-commerce market segments. You will provide legal trainings to relevant colleagues and will advise on risk management matters of the Corporation. Last but not least, you will ensure protection of the Corporation’s intellectual property.

The Successful Applicant
You must have passed the PRC bar exam and with at least 2 years’ legal working experience gained with a reputable law firm or organization, ideally within the area of intellectual property or commercial law. Strong working knowledge in intellectual property law is highly regarded, as is prior legal in-house experience. You will be familiar with the relevant PRC laws governing commercial and intellectual property matters, and be kept abreast of all regulatory changes. The ideal candidate will hold a Master degree and a Bachelor degree (university degree) in Law or English / Arts. Strong communication skills (English & Mandarin) are required.
