About Our Client
Our client is a privately owned group with a strong brand name and business in the hospitality/retail and leisure industry. Due to sustained and projected growth in the region, they are seeking an experienced and talented finance professional for the position of Assistant Financial Controller.

Job Description
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your key role will be to lead a high-quality finance function overseeing daily finance and accounting operations throughout the region. You will play a key role in streamlining current operations, performing business process re-engineering and making recommendations on new accounting systems and processes. Your responsibilities will also include financial and statutory reporting, implementation of internal controls, taxation and treasury matters, ensuring compliance with corporate policies/procedures and a range of ad-hoc projects.

The Successful Applicant

You will be a professionally qualified accountant with at least 5 years experience gained from either hospitality/retail or leisure industry. Regional exposure is preferred. To succeed in the role you must be a highly motivated individual with both a strategic and hands-on approach. Management experience, strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills are pre-requisites. Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is essential.
