About Our Client
Our client is global firm specializing in the manufacturing of vending machine. They have conducted operations in Guangzhou for over 5 years and has independent development for different types of high quality and technical standard vending machines. They are currently looking for a candidate with an automation/mechanical background to join their team as Assembly Manager.

Job Description

  • Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, production efficiency and cost analysis systems to enhance performance of equipment, personnel, utilities and materials transformation.
  • Monitor and review assembly team performance against quality, safety and environment standards and act towards continuous improvement
  • Resolve production problems, maximize product reliability and minimize cost.
  • Set up and manage the production line. Ensure the maximum efficiency of the design and layout of equipment, materials and workspace.
  • Cooperate with quality department to improve process and optimize routine related assembly function, with an understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
  • Coordinate order scheduling and assembling requirements, and provide capacity and raw material requirement report proactively.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation or related field.
  • 5-6 years experience in manufacturing production or assembly; 2-3 years in a management role preferred
  • Experience with production line transfer from overseas would be preferred.
  • Familiar with 5S Site Management, Lean, logistic, warehouse, etc.
  • Good command of English communication skills
  • Computer skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
