Job Description

As part of a satellite team in Asia, you will be stationed in Guangzhou to support the Sports Equipment (Hockey and golf etc.)product development team at head office in Canada. Main responsibility includes:

• Follow up the Asian projects with the different suppliers;
• Communicate the issues/problems encountered on a weekly basis to the head office development team;
• Follow up the samples and the prototypes;
• Manufacture the new products;
• Assist in the production start-up;
• Research materials and new suppliers;
• Develop and continuously improve the processes, including the manufacturing processes, with the suppliers; Perform quality and production audits and audit the new suppliers.

The Successful Applicant

• University diploma in Engineering, and 5 years’ experience in product development and industrialization;
• Knowledge in composite is a must;
• Excellent team spirit, with examples of achievements in a working environment;
• Ability to work independently, to solve problems, to take initiatives, to adapt and to be flexible;
• Bilingual (English and Mandarin);
