About Our Client
Our client is a leading US Multinational manufacturer with substantial operations in PRC and Asia. They are currently seeking a Hong Kong qualified lawyer to join their legal team.
Job Description
Reporting directly to the Vice President in US headquarters, this newly created position is responsible for providing legal advice on matters related to manufacturing and product safety standards, advising on compliance and providing training to the various business units. In addition you will establish and maintain relationships with PRC and Hong Kong governments and regulatory authorities and supervise external counsel on managing litigation cases.
The Successful Applicant
Suitable candidates will have at least 8 years' post qualification experience with some previous experience working in-house. You should have a good understanding of corporate law as well as compliance and dealing with governments and regulatory authorities. Good communication skills as well as fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (both spoken and written) are essential for this role. Candidates with previous experience in the manufacturing industry will be highly regarded.
