The current focus of expansion both through organic and acquisitive growth is now in Asia Pacific and China. As a result our client requires a high calibre Tax executive to set up a regional team. Job Description
This key leadership role will play a significant part in overseeing tax management of China operations including driving preparation of all corporate and indirect Tax returns. In addition you will work with the group to formulate further strategies in order to minimise the tax impact in accordance with applicable legislations and perform tax management of new acquisitions. Reporting directly to the Global Group Tax Director, you will implement global tax policies and procedures and be the primary point of contact for all tax planning. The Successful Applicant
You will be a driven and proven leader who demonstrates a strong technical background in PRC tax legislation and knowledge of tax systems in the Asia Pacific region. Critical to the success of this role is your ability to successfully negotiate with local tax authorities. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential as this position will work closely with European Headquarters and the China team. This role will also involve significant opportunity to travel within China and overseas.
