About Our Client
Our client is a dominate market leader in the international beauty industry. Supported by high profile advertising and PR campaigns, they are now seeking an Area Sales Manager to further capitalise on their market positioning in the Greater China region for all duty free business.
Job Description
Reporting to the Travel Retail Director, you will manage and develop all sales aspects of our clients travel retail business in the Greater China region. Maximising both sell in and sell-through for the portfolio, you will implement all sales and promotional activities across our clients distribution network in the duty free environment. You will play a key role in overseeing the training and motivation of duty free sales staff, whilst maximising floor space and stock potential for each of the product categories. You will also co-ordinate with the regional VM team to implement merchandising and planograms by account.
The Successful Applicant
Degree qualified, you will have 5 + years of sales or business development experience in high end consumer products or the luxury industry. Hands on knowledge or experience in the travel retail industry is advantageous but not a must, however experience in the China market is very highly regarded. You are results driven, have excellent presentation and negotiation skills, and have strong people management and coaching skills. Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is essential for this position.
