About Our Client
Our client is a global medical device company operating globally, focused in providing innovative products and breakthrough products. With a successful and reputable business, their strong Asia Pacific team is looking to further invest by adding a new headcount in Hong Kong. This is a great opportunity to step into a newly created role focused in business development.
This is a newly created role in Hong Kong and they are looking for a young and energetic professional to step into this regional position. This role will work closely with another colleagues in the oncology medical device division and will report to the Regional Business Director of Asia Pacific. You will be very hands-on in building relationships with partners and effectively developing new sales channels. This role will require clinical support to partners. You will execute business strategy plans and work autonomously in achieving company's goals. It is essential for this role to build up knowledge on competitors and maintain updated knowledge of the industry. You will need to meet sales targets set out by the company. Travelling will be involved in this role.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant must have a Bachelors degree in related fields and a minimum of 5 years of experience with medical devices or capital equipments. You do not need prior regional experience but must be an autonomous worker who can step up into this role. This role requires someone with experience with OT support. You must have a proven sales track record and also experience with selling towards government and private hospital channels. Candidates with oncology experience will be considered first. Prior experience in case support is required. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are needed for this role. Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese and English is required for this role.
