About Our Client
Our client is a manufacturing company, specialized in household appliances development and manufacturing in China. Currently they are seeking for talents to help them achieve intrinsic quality of the products.
You need to coordinate the activities across sites in support of the Supplier Management Program, drive the implementation and approval of Quality Agreements between the company and Suppliers. You also need to work with R&D and purchasing managers to lead and improve and assessment and selection process for new suppliers.
Create and monitor supplier performance metrics, such as PPM and CAR, and develop supplier performance improvement plans. Perform on site supplier reviews as required. You will be responsible for monitoring the performance of the supplier management program by providing metrics and quarterly reports. Lead and drive quality improvement initiatives for material supply from vendor.
The Successful Applicant
Reporting to the quality director, you need to be qualified for following criteria:
Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
8+ years of related experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance & Manufacturing preferred.
Thorough knowledge of state-of-the-art inspection and quality inspection / concept, quality engineering / assurance techniques, instruments, equipment, and general business operations .
Must have the ability to effectively solve problems, access and implement continuous improvement projects, and to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Fluency in Chinese and English.
