About Our Client
Our client is a leading retailer with an impressive growth in Greater China region. An opportunity for a high calibre professional has arisen to join the organisation.
Reporting to the CEO, this position will provide leadership, planning and direction to the Human Resources function in line with the objectives of the organisation. The primary responsibility will be to attract, retain, motivate and develop the necessary human capital skills for staff at all levels in all locations. This will include establishing recruitment strategies and formulating clear staff development goals to attract talent streamlining communication channels to ensure corporate goals are clearly aligned and challenges, changes and opportunities are embraced by all staff. In addition, you will develop and leverage strategic HR best practices and initiatives to enhance execution, performance, and employee satisfaction levels.
The Successful Applicant
This is a challenging role that will suit a seasoned and energetic HR professional who is eager to have an impact on the organisation's next phase of development. Suitable candidates will be degree qualified with at least 15 year's human resources management experience within RETAIL industry. Essential to this role is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where the successful candidate will be required to lead and manage a whole range of strategic projects while maintaining a practical and hands-on approach. Creative and resourceful, essential characteristics will include diplomacy, integrity, sound judgement and professionalism and the ability to interface effectively with staff at all levels. Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese are expected.
