As Sales Account Manager Ballistics responsible for the sales in Asia / Pacific excluding mainland China and managing the local agents. Maintain and develop business relations with existing and potential customers. Actively responsible to develop the market and product knowledge, managing and expanding accounts, as well as implementing sales contracts, in-line with the sales plan and in accordance with the General Sales Manager / President, to foster optimum market development, market growth and profitability for Ballistic products in the Asia / Pacific region.
You are able to identify commercial opportunities in the market, based on your product know-how and commercial sense, in close cooperation with the Ballistics Business Unit Manager in Arnhem (NL)
Tasks / Responsibilities
*Translate the Business Strategy into a short/medium term sales plan for the region;
*Develop account plans in collaboration with customer;
*Managing existing accounts and generating new sales in existing accounts and potential accounts in the region;
*Responsible for sales in the designated area and managing local agents;
*Identifying and interpreting market- and customer opportunities;
*Submitting quotation and contracts;
*Negotiating and closure of sales contracts;
*Co-responsible for the marketing strategy and product development programs and the introduction and implementation of the same;
*Investigate if strategic partners / cooperation in the area is required;
*Close cooperation with the local Technical Account Manager for Ballistics;
*Advise and participate in business related trade shows / exhibitions / conferences;
*Analysing competitors activities, alternative products available in the market, relevant (technical) developments and upcoming trends;
*Sharing all relevant market and competitor information with the organization;
*Enhancing the knowledge of (potential) customers about our products;
The Successful Applicant
*Bachelor or Master degree (Commercial Economics or Technical Business Science);
*Relevant working experience in technical international B2B environment in Ballistics;
*Willing to travel (+/-40%) within the Asia / Pacific region;
*Strong commercial skills (relations builder) with technical background;
*Strong business ethics;
*Self starter with entrepreneurial spirit;
*Flexibility and ability to adapt to different cultures;
*Customer focused and result oriented;
*Strong negotiation skills and persuasiveness;
*Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
