About Our Client
Our client is one of the leading international cruise companies in the world. They offer over 20 ships across various brands and aim to be adding more vessels in the next 5 years. With over many offices in over 10 countries, they are looking to expand their lines within Asia Pacific. Due their rapid expansion in Hong Kong, they are looking to add additional headcount and are now looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team.
As Sales Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director. You will be responsible for sales, business development activities and developing fruitful relationships with clients in the S.E Asia region. You will play a strong role in determining sales and marketing strategies and directions, as well as sales planning, forecasting, reporting and sales tracking. Working with both the marketing and product teams, you will be part of a high performing team that will develop promotional and product strategies to improve guest experience and drive revenue. You will also build new business through being a part of trade shows, seminars and other events. With time, you will be building a strong sales team across S.E Asia, to support their APAC expansion and growing sales volume.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you should have a related bachelor degree and 7+ years of relevant business development experiences within the travel/tourism industry. Those with experience working with Cruises will be highly preferred. You should have a solid background in regional sales with a proven sales track record.
You should have good business acumen and be a strong communicator, aggressive and independent with good time management. You must have a good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese. You should be able to work under pressure and determined to meet sales targets. Regular travel is required for this role.
