About Our Client
Our client is one of the best-regarded, international media and publishing company with multiple global offices across the globe. To adhere to their continual expansion in the Asia Pacific region, they are looking to hire a Sales Director, Asia Pacific to lead their existing sales business across Asia Pacific. This is a key top management position within their company.
The Sales Director, Asia Pacific is a senior management position within the company and will include a place on the Asian Management Committee. You will manage various sales teams across Asia Pacific. This position will act as the sales business leader of the APAC developing sales and marketing strategies and furthering the development of the business. You will be leading sales teams in multiple countries and will need to guide and train them in consultative and integrated solution selling. This position will drive new business development and identify new opportunities within the market for the company.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years' of experience within the media industry in a sales role. It is essential that you have regional experience with various markets. It is key to have a successful track record on leadership and business growth. Previous experience in managing large teams is ideal. Fluency in spoken and written English is a must, while an additional Asian language would be advantageous.
