About Our Client
This is a great opportunity to work with a large leader in specialised telecommunications technology for large enterprises. With close to 30 years of experience behind them, they are well known for their excellent market share and industry recognition in Asia and hold an enviable position in the industry.
They are now further expanding in Asia Pacific and looking to solidify their position in the region. To support this growth, they would like a talented Regional Business Development Manager to join their Regional team in Hong Kong.
As a Regional Business Development Manager, you will report to the Sales Director, APAC and be responsible for driving business development activities in the Asia Region. To do this you will be prospecting and building long-term relationships directly with clients in the region. Using a strategic and consultative approach, you will assess the assigned territory's business strategies and to effectively drive sales via prospecting to media and broadcasting market. This is a regional strategic role and you are expected to take ownership of the Asia Region and drive the business forward. Travelling will be an essential part of this position.
The Successful Applicant
This role demands an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to drive a region autonomously, with a clear vision of growth. You MUST have directly managed regional client accounts within the Asia Pacific Region. A minimum of 5 years of sales experience with a strong sales track record is required for this role. Those with previous experience with regional broadcasting businesses will be highly regarded. Since this an autonomous role, you must be able to work individually and should possess strong analysis, negotiation, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. This is an outstanding opportunity for a self-starter who is driven, hands-on, with a strong business and strategic mindset. This role requires a strong fluent communicator in English -other Asian languages will be a plus.
While this role is open to sponsoring working visas - you MUST have had previous working experience in Hong Kong and experience dealing directly with regional APAC clients.
