About Our Client
Our client is a world renowned mobile device company headquartered in Europe with its products distributed around the globe. To cater their market expansion, they are looking for a solid quality management talent to mange their ODM suppliers in the Greater China region.
Reporting directly to the Supplier Quality Manager, you will implement the quality management systems (QMS) with the ODM suppliers to support the overall product life cycle. As a key quality interface, you will perform audits and review reports to monitor the manufacturing process and assess the supplier quality to ensure they comply with corporate standards. Liaising with the engineering, procurement and marketing teams, you will lead the supplier performance programmes to resolve any quality issues encountered and drive for further improvement. In the long run, you will also define new QMS, standards and quality tools for further development in order to maximise the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the manufacturing process.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will have an Engineering Degree, with at least 7 years of experience in supplier quality management. You will have a strong understanding of the overall product development cycle, especially in managing ODM suppliers. Prior experience in handling mobile devices is a must. Open to travelling, you will visit suppliers in China to monitor the manufacturing process whilst strong communication and influencing skills are expected as you will be the key driver for the quality programme. Good command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin is required.
