Quality Assistant Manager - Small Domestic Appliances

About Our Client
Our client is a world renowned company in small domestic appliances. To cater further business development, they are looking for a solid quality management talent to mange their projects to ensure the products and process are up to corporate standards.
Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you will be the key quality interface for various projects. You will perform audits and review reports to monitor the manufacturing process and assess the supplier quality to ensure they comply with corporate standards. You will lead the supplier performance programmes to resolve any quality issues encountered and drive for further improvement. In the long run, you will also define new QMS, standards and quality tools for further development in order to maximize the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the manufacturing process.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will have an Engineering Degree, with at least 5 years of experience in quality management. Prior experience in handling small domestic appliances is a must. Open to travelling, you will visit suppliers in China to monitor the manufacturing process whilst strong communication and influencing skills are expected. Good command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin is required.
