About Our Client
Our client is a leading provider of extremely high quality and high value large scale model cars for all of the significant luxury sports car manufacturers in the world. They are actively looking for a well qualified Plant Manager to take over the plant operations and bring to the next level in terms of efficiency and profitability.
Reporting to HQ, you will oversee all daily operations of the plant to drive continuous improvement and optimization of all processes. More specifically, you will plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed internal and external expectations. You will increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards. You will be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping and allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to product optimal results. You will implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus. You will share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff, and address employees' issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements. You will also stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts.
The Successful Applicant
Degree qualified in Engineering or Business Management, you should have proven work experience as a Plant Manager along with excellent knowledge of business and management principles including but not limited to budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources. You should be willing to learn and develop good understanding of the equipment and technical expertise, and knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes. You should be able to create accountability and to lead by example. Strong team building, decision making and people management skills are required. Fluency in both Mandarin and English needed.
