The Contract and Commercial Expert is responsible for developing contractual and commercial strategies which improve and protect Company's profitability. This is achieved through:
*Contract creation and negotiation for Managed Services sales projects pursuing greater benefit and minimized risks.
*Continuously working with sales, delivery, technical, support functions etc, to identify new opportunities to improve financial performance (profit, cash-flow and working capital) through the sales opportunity and contract lifecycles;
*Understanding commercial value and developing commercial positions that best represent Company's objectives including continuous improvement of the commercial and legal terms and conditions;
*Identifying all commercial risks throughout the contract lifecycle and creating mitigating strategies to address these;
*Ensuring adherence to Company's and the project's governance structures and systems.

The Successful Applicant
*University degree or above.
*Minimum 10 years experience as a Contract Manager in pre and/or post sales
*Certification from a globally recognised authority (e.g. IACCM)
*Technical or outsourcing expertise coupled with knowledge of contract management and interpretation
*Outstanding communication (verbal & written) and negotiation skills with the ability to lead, influence and drive complex deal shaping and negotiations.
*Demonstrated ability to manage large and complex projects from the initial period to successful outcomes.
*Demonstrated business acumen and financial understanding.
*Must be a team player and posses exemplary managerial skills.
Contract Managers are expected to possess the following competencies which are categorized as either "wanted" (this is an ideal or "nice to have" skill) or "required" (must have skill):
*Telecoms industry knowledge (Wanted)
Knowledge of IT&T, especially telecoms and mobility market
Knowledge of Company business processes especially sales and project delivery
*Job Specific Skills (Required)
Customer focused (external or internal customer)
Ability to draft, interpret and negotiate contracts
Financial & commercial understanding
Experience in complex sales / outsourcing and project delivery
*Personal Traits (Wanted)
Strong communicator (listening, speaking and writing)

Teamwork (cross-functional, multi-cultural
Time management, including planning and organising

Typical office environments, expected to undertake considerable global travel in course of duties.
