About Our Client
Our client is an established organisation in the Retail industry with expansion in Asia. Our client continues to expand and further strengthen their position and is looking for an Internal Control Manager position based in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be leading a team looking after Hong Kong market. You have to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of company's financial and operational control by proper implementation of policies. Major duties include reviewing the process flow for retail operations and complying with global policies by liaising and cooperating with cross functions (Procurement, Supplychain, Logistics), third-parties and regions. You are responsible for operation flow enhancement and all related compliance and internal control audit. Besides, you have to play a key role in Financial Control, Treasury and Cash management. Apart from performing stock control and analysis for cost-monitoring, you will participate in the projects regarding to store opening analysis and business development.
The Successful Applicant
Successful applicants should ideally possess a minimum of 6-8 years of accounting/ internal-audit/ internal-control experience in MNCs/ sizable corporations preferably from Retail/Sourcing/FMCG businesses with CPA/ACCA/CIA/CISA qualification. Commercial experience is a MUST; relevant auditing experience from Big4 is also preferred. Excellent communication skills with business acumen are essential. Complete fluency in both written and verbal English and Chinese is crucial. You may expect minimal level of travel
